Named as one of KTVT- 11's (Dallas CBS affiliate) Inspiring People, week of April 19, 2004 for work at local high schools, speaking at student assemblies on dangers of alcohol and drug abuse by teens. Featured in on-air story airing on April 22 and 23, 2004.
Speaker at high school "Fatal Choices, Shattered Dreams" assemblies throughout North Texas in 2003-2006, reaching in excess of 12,000 students with story of the death of my son, Jonathan Leslie, in an alcohol-related traffic accident.

John Leslie mediates disputes in business, commercial and corporate law matters, as well as in bankruptcy and insolvency situations.  John has over 30 years of experience, holds an MBA from Notre Dame in addition to his Notre Dame law degree, and received his mediation training with the American Arbitration Association.  John opened John Leslie | PLLC in 2005 to be closer to his Arlington residence and to be able to offer high quality legal and mediation services at rates lower than those charged by Dallas or Fort Worth firms.
