I am an attorney at law admitted to practice 12/22/76. I was certified as a specialist in family law by the State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in 1985. I have a certificate in mediation from Fresno Pacific University from August 2011. I have been mediating since the 1990s and have been in practice over 35 years.


Professional Background: I have been practicing law since 1976. In 1985 I became a certified family law specialist. My practice has included mediation for the past 10 years. As of January 1, 2008, my practice is largely mediation, arbitration, and facilitation.


Experience: I began mediating in the 1990′s and now dedicate my practice to uncontested matters, mediation and arbitration.


Approach: My mediation style is based on the needs of the participants. It varies from evaluative to marital reconciliation counseling depending on the apparent needs of the parties.

November, 1981 to Present: Attorney-partnership in general practice of law with major emphasis in family, juvenile, employment, and estate planning law. Certified Specialist in Family Law since 1985; substantial appellate work in family and juvenile, and employment areas, published decisions attached.

Adjunct Professor, Fresno State University Extension, Spring, 1990, “Laws Relating to Minors”.


Representation of DPSS-Child Protective Services 1982-1984; WI 300 and CC232 appeals representing natural parents and minors.


Practice has included mediation for the past 10 years, commencing January 1, 2008 no longer taking contested cases so as to be available full time for mediation and arbitration matters.
