While Molly Jo was a partner with Bodyfelt Mount LLP, she formed Mullen ADR as a way to better serve her clients outside the courtroom.  With the rise of alternative dispute resolution, Molly frequently used alternative means to resolve cases.   She originally joined the firm as an associate in 1995 and became a partner in 2000.  From 1991 to 1995, Molly Jo gained extensive trial experience as a staff attorney with Multnomah Defenders, Inc., as a criminal defense lawyer.

Molly Jo handles cases in the areas of employment, medical malpractice, products liability and general insurance defense.  She has tried more than 75 cases to juries since beginning practice in 1991.  Those jury trials range from minor auto accidents to multi-million-dollar professional negligence claims. Molly Jo is AV rated as an attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Molly Jo Mullen was raised overseas and in southern Oregon, where her family has lived for generations. The daughter of a visual artist and a history professor, she learned to value the benefits of a free, open and democratic society while growing up in Africa.  This early recognition of the importance of free speech and the rule of law led her to the University of Oregon, where she met her husband in Russian class.  She then continued on to law school in San Francisco.  Molly Jo is an active participant in local issues and spends much of her time championing the development of ethical, responsive and caring young attorneys who will live up to the high standards of the profession. She is simultaneously hoping to impart these same values to her two daughters, with varying degrees of success. Molly Jo finds it an honor and a privilege to represent individuals and their businesses through difficult legal struggles and life events. She hopes to follow in the footsteps of her grandparents by joining the Peace Corps at the age of 65 and leaving Bodyfelt Mount LLP a thriving, dynamic firm full of diverse and purposeful attorneys.
