Alan W. Harris

Alan Harris is a Texas lawyer with more than 34 years experience in commercial and business litigation, trials and arbitrations in Texas and across the country. He represents businesses and individuals in select litigation matters.

Mr. Harris is also an experienced Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, having been appointed mediator or arbitrator in scores of cases. He serves as mediator by court appointment or selection by the parties and serves as arbitrator under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association, other dispute resolution service providers and privately. Mr. Harris has been a member of the roster of neutrals of the American Arbitration Association since 1997, and also serves as arbitrator on the Large Complex Case Panel and for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. 

Mr. Harris opened his own office in 2007. Prior to that time, he was a partner and Texas Litigation Head in a major international law firm. Mr. Harris is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been for over 15 years. He also has been named in Best Lawyers in America each year from 2007 - 2016.
