Annette Kerlin McBrayer has more than 30 years of experience in handling complex title and real estate litigation matters, including title claims and coverage analysis on behalf of national and regional title insurance companies and their insureds under American Land Title Association lender and owner policies; creditor’s rights as it relates to real estate matters; eminent domain; loan enforcement secured by real estate, including confirmation of foreclosure sales; construction litigation as it relates to liens; and commercial landlord/tenant law. Ms. McBrayer has significant experience in addressing title issues related to boundary disputes; missing heirs; missing deeds; errors in legal descriptions; quiet title actions; and suits for reformation.
Ms. McBrayer acts as a court appointed special master in Fulton County Superior Court for quiet title actions and other title litigation and is a private mediator for disputes involving title matters, construction, landlord/tenant, and commercial litigation.
Prior to Taylor English, Ms. McBrayer was of counsel in the Atlanta office of Coleman Talley LLP for four years, where the majority of her practice consisted of representing national and regional title insurance companies and/or their insureds in title clearance, defending the title insurance company and in recovery. She also assisted with the firm’s REO clients on title issues and resolution.
