- July, 1989-March, 2000: Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas—Child Support Litigation Division, Temple, Texas; engaged in preparation and trial of enforcement and support cases, parentage litigation, and enforcement of foreign orders (UIFSAs); advised child support officers and other legal staff in a volume litigation practice.
