Over the past 30 years, Charlie has handled a broad variety of commercial litigation in state and federal courts and in administrative forums. Charlie employs a problem solving approach to client matters, zealously advancing business clients’ interests with a value oriented, business approach. A concentration of his work has been in real estate litigation, insurance coverage matters, including commercial liability and title insurance issues, disputes arising out of covenants not to compete and employment contracts, probate and trust disputes, appeals in state and federal courts and general business litigation. In addition, Charlie has extensive experience representing clients in libel actions, matters under Florida’s public records and open meetings laws and in pre-publication review.
Charlie honed his mediation skills as an advocate, refined those skills at the Harvard Negotiation Institute Mediation Workshop and now applies his broad base of legal experience as a Florida Supreme Court Circuit mediator. Charlie graduated from the Creative Writing Program in the Department of English at Florida State University and has continued to study the art of writing throughout his life. Charlie graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1987. After law school, Charlie served for 2 years as law clerk for the Honorable Wm. Terrell Hodges in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Charlie is the former Managing Partner of the firm and currently serves on its governing Executive Committee.
