Dan’s practice focuses on estate planning, business succession planning and asset protection planning. In addition to drafting wills, Dan also prepares living trusts to avoid probate, trusts of various other types to minimize income, gift and estate taxes, and trusts and corporate entities to protect assets against forfeiture to litigation and other liabilities. Dan also advises elderly clients on planning for Medicaid eligibility and on nursing home and hospice care contracts. Furthermore, Dan has extensive experience in forming nonprofit corporations, charitable trusts and private foundations. With his extensive accounting and tax background, Dan also advises the other attorneys in the firm on probate matters, the administration of trusts, will contests, and trust challenges.
