David T. Duff

David T. Duff is the firm’s specialist in employment and labor law and also practices in the areas of education law, procurement/construction, and litigation.  He represents private and public sector employers regarding all aspects of the employer/employee relationship.  He holds an LL.M. in Labor Law from New York University School of Law and is certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a Specialist in Employment and Labor Law.  In education law, Mr. Duff’s focus is on issues related to personnel, school construction and finance, and issues related to the education and discipline of disabled students.

While he brings his skills as a mediator to each legal conflict, Mr. Duff also has extensive experience as a litigator, including trial work in state and federal court and appeals in both the state and federal systems.  He is licensed to practice before the South Carolina Supreme Court, the Federal District Court of South Carolina, the Fourth and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.
