A Seattle area transplant, Janal M. Rich received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Communication, graduating magna cum laude from Hope College, in Holland, MI. Upon graduating from Hope College, she attended Michigan State University College of Law, where she was the president of the local chapter of the American Bar Association, and volunteered at the South Central Michigan Legal Services (for low-income families).
Ms. Rich moved to Seattle in 2005, and spent her final year at Seattle University School of Law as a visiting student. since 2007, Ms. Rich has worked in the areas of family law, criminal law, bankruptcy and traffic infractions.
Ms. Rich is a child of divorce and has personal experience with domestic violence, DUIs, and family law issues. Ms. Rich not only acts as a family law attorney, but also serves as a Guardian ad Litem in King and Pierce Counties. Ms. Rich brings her personal experience into the office to relate with clients, and would ask that you allow her to do the same for you.
