Jessica J. Tlusty was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, in 1971. In 1994, she graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She then earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1997.
That same year, she was admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Attorney Tlusty is a member of the Marathon County Bar Association, Wisconsin State Bar Association, and Wisconsin Association for Justice. From 2006 through 2011, she was appointed to assist the Wisconsin Office of Lawyer Regulations by working on the Ethics Committee for District 16, which investigates and reviews ethics complaints against other attorneys. From 2008 to 2010, she was elected to and served on the State Bar of Wisconsin Board of Governors, and also served as the Board Liaison to the Solo and Small Practice Committee of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
