Biographical
Phi Alpha Delta. Practiced before National Labor Relations Board in several of its Regional Offices, including Connecticut, New York City, Boston, Minneapolis, Philadelphia and San Francisco and before the Board in Washington, D.C., Connecticut State Board of Labor Relations, Connecticut State Board of Mediation and Arbitration in grievance and interest arbitrations under State Teacher Negotiation Act and Municipal Employee Relations Act, American Arbitration Association under its Voluntary Rules for Labor Arbitration, industry panels and other private and public agencies in grievance arbitrations. Collective bargaining spokesman for public school boards, municipalities and public utilities and for private sector clients in manufacturing, construction, health care, printing, institutions of higher education, service and other industries. Lectured and served as panelist at seminars on a variety of labor-and employment-related topics for corporate, professional and public sector audiences, including annual lectures on teacher bargaining issues to doctoral candidates at Teachers College, Columbia University. Taught courses in personnel administration and the law at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut, and in advanced collective bargaining at the University of Bridgeport Graduate Program in Governmental Affairs and Management, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
