Jonathan C. Clark (“Jon”) founded Clark & Clark and Associates in 2006 with one goal in mind: to create valuable, life long, attorney-client relationships by establishing trust through competent legal representation for the firm’s clientele.
Jon is a 1987 graduate of Lancaster High School. Jon continued his education and in 1991, graduated from Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan. Prior to attending law school, Jon worked as a production manager, plant manager, sales representative and general manager for private and publicly traded lumber and cylinder manufacturing facilities throughout the Eastern United States. This experience provided valuable business and practical experience that Jon applies every day in his consultations with his clients. This sets Jon apart from most other practicing attorneys. Jon fully understands the day-to-day operations of running a business and knows how to not only give legal advice to his clients, but how to give practical advice.
After nearly ten years of hands on business experience, Jon followed one of his life dreams and attended Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. Jon graduated cum laude and in the top 15% of his class in 2002. After successfully passing the Ohio bar exam in 2002, Jon also sat for and passed the North Carolina state bar exam in 2003. This was at the urging of past business associates located in North Carolina that Jon represents to this day.
Since its founding in 2006, Clark & Clark and Associates has grown to three offices located in Lancaster and Bremen, Ohio and Cornelius, North Carolina. The firm’s main areas of practice include business/corporate law, banking, acquisitions, real estate, probate/estate administration, estate planning and general legal and personal counseling. The firm takes pride in not only representing publicly traded premier banks, but also representing the small to mid-sized business owners.
In 2012, Jon purchased Lanco Title Agency which has now been in business for over 35 years serving Fairfield and surrounding counties. This acquisition has enabled Clark & Clark and Associates to further enhance its real estate practice by providing commercial and residential title insurance and related services for its clients.
Jon is also actively involved in the community and firmly believes in assisting others whenever possible. Jon accomplishes this through his association with charitable and civic organizations. Jon has volunteered his time as an officer, board member and member of The Lighthouse, Fairfield County Library Foundation, Community Improvement Commission, Fairfield County Foundation, Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, Salvation Army, United Way and Lancaster-Fairfield County Charity Newsies just to name a few.
