Katy A. Reichert is a family-law practitioner. She represents individuals involved in divorce, child custody, and child support cases. She also helps individuals set up guardianships and adoptions.
Katy is an approved Parenting Act mediator through the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution. She mediates high conflict cases as a Specialized Alternative Dispute Resolution (SADR) trained mediator. She mediates custody agreements and parenting plans. As an attorney-mediator, Katy can mediate child support matters, spousal support issues, and division of marital debts and assets in divorce cases.
Katy has been practicing law in the State of Nebraska since 2013. She graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2012. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in English, Spanish, and Economics, cum laude, from Creighton University in 2009.
In the community, Katy serves on the Board of Directors for Ancova Empowerment Project and is on the Board of Advisors for Nebraskans for Civic Reform. She is a member of the Scottsbluff/Gering Rotary chapter. She volunteers as an organizer for the Oregon Trail Days Food Fair.
Katy is a native of Western Nebraska and grew up on a farm and ranch north of Morrill. She and her husband, Ryan, live in the country with their two spunky pups, Henry and Benji. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, golfing, and being with her family.
