My 29 years as a Lawyer, 12 years as a Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge, along with my Mediation Certification from Northwestern University, give me a unique ability to Resolve a multitude of cases Fairly and Efficiently without having to waste time and money litigating them in court. No one wants a judgement entered against them and everyone wants to have input into the outcome of their case. Mediation the best resource to resolve conflict even if no case has been filed. Mediation is a safe and neutral atmosphere to resolve issues with a Certified Professional Mediator that will help you resolve all of the issues to reach an agreement that is a win-win for both sides and provides finality to your case. It doesn't have to be contentious to use Mediation. Parties who want to discuss and resolve issues without wasting time litigating or back and forth communication between attorneys and parties mediate their cases in a single day.
I also do Consultation/Mediation for people who are getting a divorce and want to know how to navigate the system and what to expect. Many times a husband and wife are agreeable to a divorce, but do not want to spend the time and money to hire an attorney and go to court, so they will hire me as a Consultant to help them finalize their divorce with discussion and agreement on all of the issues along with helping them to complete all the paperwork for filing an uncontested divorce. This is frequently done in a single day and takes anywhere from 4-6 hours depending upon how complicated the issues are, the level of conflict and how much preparation the parties do prior to the Consultation/Mediation. There is a lot of paperwork to fill out prior to getting a divorce in Wisconsin. I make sure that all of it is has been agreed upon, understood and correctly completed. I have had many couples choose this route and are very glad they were able to resolve their divorce, peacefully, quickly and cheaply without a long emotional process in a court system of litigation. Professional Background
Prior to starting CCMA SOLUTIONS, LLC, I was a Circuit Court Judge in Waukesha County, Wisconsin for 12 years. I have presided in all areas of the law including all of our 4 divisions: Juvenile, Criminal, Family and Civil. Prior to serving as a Circuit Court Judge, I was an Attorney at the Division of Regulation & Licensing for the State of Wisconsin. I enforced the statutory laws and board regulations relating to licensing and professional performance for a multitude of businesses and professions in the state. Prior to the Division of Regulation & Licensing, I served as an Administrative Law Judge for Hearings & Appeals in the Probation and Parole Division. I conducted numerous probation and parole revocation hearings throughout the State of Wisconsin at various jails and prisons and issued decisions on whether or not to revoke probation or parole for an offender and imposed sentences and made recommendations regarding sentencing for those who violated their supervision. After graduation from Marquette University Law School, I served as an Assistant District Attorney for Waukesha County, Wisconsin for 10 years. I have handled a wide variety of cases and done numerous jury trials, court trials, motions and other contested matters.
