Dr. Pigott is a social psychologist, with a Ph.D. from Florida State University. She has been conducting research in the area of psychology and the law since the early 1980s. Dr. Pigott has been a trial/litigation consultant on thousands of cases including personal injury, commercial, employment, and construction cases. These have included: accidents, antitrust, civil rights, construction, contract, eminent domain, employment, intellectual property, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, and securities matters. Her wide range of experience gives her a unique perspective to bring to mediation. People make decisions in litigation, including mediation, and as an expert on human behavior, Dr. Pigott is able to help achieve positive outcomes for the litigants.
