In her 28-year law practice, Melissa Aliotti litigated hundreds of cases, trying several to verdict involving construction defects and construction site injuries, landlord tenant mold bodily injury, accidents with injuries from minor soft tissue to brain injury, and assault and battery cases with psychiatric component. She is now a full-time mediator, arbitrator, discovery referee, and special master. Melissa has presented at numerous educational seminars on ADR, personal injury, uninsured motorist law, liens, insurance coverage, contractual indemnity provisions, and construction defect litigation. She is a member of the California State Bar ADR section, the ABA Dispute Resolution section, and the Sacramento County Bar Association ADR and Construction sections. Born in Tokyo and raised in the military, Melissa spent her younger years in Europe, Washington DC, Monterey, and San Diego. She lives in Sacramento with her husband; together they have two children presently away at college.
