Michael spent several years defending clients as a public defender, eventually deciding that working with sex offenders and murders has sufficiently toughened him to work in the South Florida legal community. Michael once did see a judge use the handle of his revolver as a gavel, but mostly tries to see into the interection of technology and intellectual property (Michael comes down squarly on the side of “geek” in the geek-nerd debate) where he represents both rights holders, licensees and those accused of infringement
