Michael’s practice focuses on litigation, mediation and arbitration. He advises on issues concerning complex civil litigation, construction litigation, debt collection, landlord/tenant litigation, contract disputes, real estate litigation and mechanic’s lien/construction bond claims.
Michael is a mediator in a variety of cases in both Texas and New Mexico. Besides being qualified to handle civil mediations, he is also qualified to mediate lawsuits affecting the parent/child relationship and other family disputes. Michael is a Credential Distinguished Mediator with the Texas Mediation Credentialing Association.
In 2002, Michael became a partner at the Firm. He received his B.A. and M.S. from Pittsburg State University of Kansas and J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He has practiced law in Texas since 1996 and in New Mexico since 2013. Michael handles cases in local, state and federal courts.
Michael has shared his legal expertise at multiple seminars and conventions throughout the country and serves the community as a volunteer attorney for the Children’s Justice Center of El Paso. Additionally, he represents children and parents in cases involving the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.
