Our lawyer, Milena Christopher, is exceptionally well qualified to help our clients with sensitive family issues. She has a master's degree in psychology counseling in addition to her law degree. She started her law career as a prosecutor in Florida in 1988, where her duties included the prosecution of sex crimes and child abuse cases, and in the two decades since then she has successfully handled countless divorce and other family law cases.

Moreover, with her caring and considerate demeanor, attorney Milena Christopher is a calming presence in the lives of her family law clients.

Before moving to Texas, attorney Milena Christopher prosecuted child abuse cases for the government in Broward County, Florida. She founded her first law firm, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The firm eventually grew to a staff of 26, including several attorneys, and was the largest law firm owned and run by a woman in Ft. Lauderdale. Among her many clients, she handled child support cases for all of Broward County.

While developing her law practice, attorney Milena Christopher became an early proponent of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Today, she is known as a champion of mediation and collaborative law, the newest form of ADR. She has earned the designation of Advanced Credentialed Mediator by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association (TMCA) and is also the Vice President of the Hill Country Collaborative Law Group (HCCLG).
