A Long Island attorney and experienced divorce mediator, and an accredited member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, Pamela Pollack has helped hundreds of couples in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties, ranging from the amicable to those who have great difficulty speaking to one another before they begin the mediation process. Pamela helps couples move away from emotionally-driven positions, so that the couple is able to make rational choices for their financial future and for the well-being of their children.

Pamela is active in the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation and the matrimonial and dispute resolution committees of the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations. Pamela has presented on “Handling Financial Issues in Divorce Mediation” at the National Conference of CPA’s, Nassau/Suffolk Chapter, and has conducted a workshop on the benefits of divorce mediation before the Employee Assistance Providers, Inc.

Pamela received her law degree from American University and was trained in mediation at the Center for Divorce and Family Mediation.

Amy Reinstein-Augenstein is both an experienced Long Island attorney and psychotherapist who brings her legal knowledge, her sensitivity to the dynamics of interpersonal relationships and her experience in helping families resolve emotional and financial issues related to divorce to her work as a mediator. Amy has had the personal satisfaction of helping couples move from anger to optimism as they complete the mediation process.

Amy is a graduate of Wesleyan University, Boston University School of Law and New York University School of Social Work. She received divorce mediation training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, an institution dedicated to the emotional health and well being of individuals and families. Amy is a member of the New York State Bar, the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations, the National Association of Social Workers, the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation and the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York.
