Raiford D. Palmer

Raiford D. Palmer, licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1994, is a 1994 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991.  Raif has past legal experience in commercial litigation, business transactions, and personal injury litigation, but concentrated in family law and dissolution of marriage for the past several years.  Raif is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Foundation, the Will County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  Raif is a Fellow in the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, a Fellow in the International Association of Collaborative Professionals, a former Guardianad Litemfor the Circuit Court of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, DuPage County, as well as a former Arbitrator for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court, DuPage County.  

Raif is also a speaker about dissolution of marriage issues for L.E.A.V.E.S. (Legal, Emotional and Various Economic Services, Inc.).   Raif has published several articles on family law topics and has spoken before the DuPage County Bar Association for continuing legal education on family law. He has also served as a trainer in the highly regarded DuPage County Bar Association Trial Practice Training program.

Raif concentrates his practice in high net worth and complex asset divorce matters, especially those involving corporate officers and business ownership interests.  He handles mediation, collaborative and cooperative cases as well as litigated matters
