Mr. Bertolino was born in 1953 in Inglewood, Califor¬nia. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1978 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1979. He is also admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of the Northern, Eastern and Central District Courts of California, the U.S. District Court, Federal District Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Bertolino attended San Diego State University and Sacramento State University (B.A., 1975), University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (J.D., 1978), and Georgetown University (LL.M., 1979). He was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, Traynor Honor Society and the Moot Court Honors Board while in law school.
Mr. Bertolino was a partner in the law firm of Ingoglia, Marskey, Kearney, Lobner and Bull from 1988 before joining this firm. He is also a member of Defense Counsel of Northern California. From 2004 through 2008, Mr. Bertolino has served as a Guest Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business; Guest Lecturer University of California, Davis School of Management 2005 to the present, where he lectures on torts and employment law. In 2005, Mr. Bertolino was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
