“Will Rogers said ‘Two things in life are certain: death and taxes. The only difference is that when Congress meets death does not get any worse.’ When I discuss death and taxes with my clients, I explain that with thoughtful and comprehensive estate planning, including asset protection planning, we can make it easier for those we leave behind. I work closely with them to understand their goals, priorities, family situations and charitable interests. I make financial and estate planning recommendations, review and advise clients on the tax effects of possible scenarios, prepare appropriate documents to implement the plans we develop, and review plans periodically for appropriate changes. I also work collaboratively with their other professional advisers to create the optimal estate plan for each client’s unique circumstance and individual situation.”
