Stacy C. Cordes

Stacy Cordes primarily advises clients on debtor-creditor disputes and related matters. Ms. Cordes has represented clients in all types of litigation before state and federal courts.  Her practice includes lender workouts, foreclosures and small business disputes and dissolutions.  Whether through formal mediation or out of court negotiated workout, Ms. Cordes’ strength is working to resolve complicated disputes. If bankruptcy is the best option, then Ms. Cordes will also walk through the process with clients and file Chapter 7 cases.  Ms. Cordes has represented creditors in all chapters of bankruptcy.

Ms. Cordes has served in various positions within North Carolina Bar Association including serving on the Board of Governors and chairing the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Mecklenburg County Bar and chaired the Young Lawyers Division. She has been a speaker and planned seminars on bankruptcy related topics throughout her twenty plus years of practice. Ms. Cordes utilizes her interpersonal skills and professional relationships with other attorneys to provide the best legal representation for her clients.
