Stacy LeBow Siegel

Stacy LeBow Siegel  practiced family law in the State of Maryland for over 30 years.  While practicing law, Ms. Siegel also mediated cases with disputants who had legal representation, as well as Pro Se (without representation).  She now earned the certifications required by the Circuit Courts of Maryland to mediate divorce and family law disputes as well as other civil matters.  Ms. Siegel is willing to travel to wherever needed for your mediation.

As a domestic trial litigator for over thirty years, Ms. Siegel saw the front lines of domestic trials and how it brought it out the worst in people.  Litigation can be elongate the process and be very expensive.  Mediation can bring out the best in people, even during the toughest of times.  Whether represented by counsel, or working without lawyers, disputing partners can work together to find solutions to their issues.  Often  reaching resolutions that are outside the scope of what the Courts have the authority to do.  Ms. Siegel brings 30+ plus years of domestic litigation experience along with the creativity to help develop solutions both parties can agree to.

Siegel Solutions, LLC is founded on the basic tenet that most domestic and family law matters can avoid protracted and expensive litigation when resolution can be accomplished through an effective mediation process.  Ms. Siegel believes that the combination of a skilled, talented mediator and proficient counsel yields the best chance of reaching an agreement.  Mediation allows parties to enter into additional agreements containing provisions that a court may not have the authority to grant.

She has witnessed the inefficiency of some mediation processes, and of some litigation.  Her strategy will keep your mediation focused and goal oriented.  As a mediator she is not able to provide legal advice to clients, however, her direct experience with highly contested litigation affords her a perspective that most mediators simply do not have; one that greatly increases the chances of a successful resolution.
