Ms. Salazar graduated from Rutgers University in 1991. She was a member of Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society. Ms. Salazar received her law degree from New York Law School in 1997. She has represented clients in discrimination, harassment, worker misclassification, sexual harassment, wage & hour, disability, breach of contract, arbitrations, mediations, unemployment insurance and other employment related matters. Ms. Salazar has drafted numerous employment policy manuals, conducts legal audits and counsels employers in investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment and has represented employers before the New York State Department of Labor in wage and unemployment insurance related matters. She also trains management and employees in preventing and/or ending discrimination and harassment in the workplace. Ms. Salazar is a trained mediator and serves as a mediator for the United States District Court Southern District of New York to mediate employment discrimination cases. She is also a mediator for the New York Peace Institute (formerly known as Safe Horizon Mediation) and mediates cases in New York City Civil Court. In addition, she has a financial background and has served as the firm's financial manager since 1991. Ms. Salazar is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars and the National Employment Lawyer's Association of New York
