Terry Buchert is an attorney admitted to practice in all Florida state trial and appellate courts, as well as before the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. He is also certified as a Circuit Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court.
Mr. Buchert is “AV-rated” – the highest possible rating - by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, a determination made by other attorneys in the area.
Mr. Buchert graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Political Science in 1979. Prior to embarking on a legal career, he served as a Naval Flight Officer flying the S-3A Viking in both the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He graduated from The University of Florida Law School in 1988, and was admitted to the Florida Bar that year.
Mr. Buchert was associated with several St. Petersburg firms - Riden Earle & Kiefner, P.A. (1988-1993), Cohrs McQueen & Ford, P.A. (1993-1995) and Englander & Fischer, P.A. (1996-2000) – before starting TERRENCE S. BUCHERT, P.A. in 2000.
Mr. Buchert was born in Houston Texas on February 9, 1957, and has been a resident of Pinellas County, Florida since 1988. He resides in the St. Petersburg area with his wife and two daughters. Over the years he has served in various volunteer capacities in school, community and youth athletic organizations.
