Warren Smith is one of the founding partners of Smith & Tomkins.  The firm provides comprehensive general insurance defense representation for insurance carriers, their insureds and self-insured clients in the area of civil trial and appellate practice in the local, state and federal courts. Warren M. Smith has AV peer review ratings from Martindale Hubbell and in addition 30+ years of experience in the area of civil litigation. He has significant prior experience in the insurance industry claims area, giving him an invaluable insight into the handling and defense of all types of claims and the often complex area of coverages and insuror/insured relationships.  He is a listed Rule 31 General Civil Mediator and has successfully mediated a variety of cases.  He has a thorough knowledge of the law and litigation experience that translates to realistic insight into a party’s chances of success at trial as well as the challenges they may face, and he is committed to working through the parties’ differences for a successful mediated resolution.
